Recipes for your belly and your face

I’m so excited! Next week I am meeting with a photographer to create recipes for a cookbook that I have been dreaming of creating for some time now.

This weekend I whipped up this most delicious coconut flour bread and wanted to share it with you.

Rosemary Garlic Kalamata Olive Coconut Flour Loaf

Ingredients-

rosemary olive coconut breadBread:
6 eggs
1/2 cup melted coconut flour
1 Tablespoon of honey
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
3/4 cup coconut flour
Topping:
Handful of fresh rosemary (diced)
3-5 cloves garlic (diced)
6 kalamata olives, pitted and diced
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients together and pour into a small oiled loaf pan.  Dice ingredients for topping and sprinkle on top of batter. I pressed the ingredients into the batter so that it would cook into it instead of being loose.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Turn the loaf over and let it cool before serving. Enjoy as sandwich bread or with hummus, avocado, or your favorite spread.
Facial Toner for Hot Months
doTerra tonerIt’s also getting hot here in Jamaica and I noticed my skin has been extra oily. Last week I created this facial toner and have been loving it!
In a blue glass bottle I put 15 drops each of frankincense, melaleuca (tea tree oil), and lavender. A tsp of Braggs apple cider vinegar, and filled the bottle with pH 5.5 acidic water (from my alkalized ionized water system) -you can used distilled water.

Cover, shake, and spray.

It’s lovely and my skin feels so happy!
